GPR68 target in glioblastoma

Novel GPR68 inhibitor shows early promise in Glioblastoma

 Dr. Chaz Hong and his team in the MSU Department of Medicine, College of Human Medicine report in Experimental Hematology and Oncology, the discovery of a novel highly specific small molecule inhibitor of GPR68 named Ogremorphin (OGM) to induce in glioblastoma the iron mediated cell death pathway: ferroptosis.
